Challenge
The new Bluey’s World in Brisbane requested a 12 metre diameter projection dome with a custom fully printed exterior cover.
The complex printed canopy was executed by Fabric Solutions and the dome frame with 2 entrances was created by The Dome Company
Solution
The 12 metre dome was installed in one day within a tight space. The internal ‘negative pressure’ projection screen was with our new design of fabric segments arching over the dome rather having the circle and all segments meeting at the top. The result is that the seams of the projection screen are minimally visable.
The extractor fan for the projection screen is well hidden behind the dome and the media server and controls are also outside of the dome.
